i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

Goodbye Louisville. Maybe Goodbye Heisman depending how bad this gets.

Question: what is the worst loss a Heisman trophy winner was a part of?

  2. Another game proving CFP rankings are almost useless right now

  5. 2 days of college football "experts" gas bagging about Louisville belonging in the top 4 and now they're getting stomped. The outrage around sports media was ridiculous. Next week they'll move on to a different team and yell about them.

I mean, they aren't wrong. Louisville did belong in the top four. Hindsight isn't a valid argument.

  7. That's not my point though. I'm saying, the constant arguing about these rankings is so useless because games like this always happen.

Oh well, yeah. I agree fully in that case. College football needs to adopt a similar system to the NFL and eliminate rankings.

Lmao at louisvlle. that's all I'll say about this. I wish I had the balls to have taken Houston moneyline in this game but alas I took the 16 points

  11. I know it's unpopular but I'd rather have computers decide. Come up with some formula that all the programs agree to and let the computers rank teams. I don't know how they'd implement something like the NFL with so many conferences. Just get everyone to sit down and decide what's important (SOS, margin of victory, and whatever else they want) and develop a formula for the computers. Everyone will know what they need to do and we won't have a committee debating what should happen.

Houston could definitely use something resembling a drive this last quarter.

I wonder how many yard markers were placed too far back in this one...

Too bad for Houston. I think even with a Navy loss they'd have a shot at this thing, but that SMU loss is too rough to handle. Great season though if you're a cougar fan. They're totally back in the hunt for a BCS spot

I highly doubt Houston would be in the playoff conversation even if they didn't lose to SMU....the Navy loss isn't awful or anything but its also not great.

  17. Jackson still deserves the Heisman imo

Jackson should still have a sizable lead but the gomers on ESPN at halftime were feverishly jerking off Baker Mayfield sooooo.....

  19. Doesn't every Big 12 QB put up big numbers?

Without looking...yes because they all are hot garbage on defense.

they would have needed help from the power 5 conferences of course, but wins against OU and Louisville, and coming from probably the 6th best conference (not like the sun belt or anything), they would've had a case.

But as a whole, that conference does not play defense. Good on WVU though, I guess.

I would assume they all do except for Kansas. Kansas does nothing right.
