Another quick hit on the strength of schedule argument....yes, Washington is not good (67th) but to date, Michigan is 60th. So why would Michigan be at #3 then?

I was merely making the argument for....you didn't like facts and so I had to argue them a bit. Care to address the SOS? I'd be curious to hear your case for Michigan over UW with their shitty SOS, as well....

Huskies have probably their two hardest games coming up in the next three weeks and I'd say the likelihood of them stumbling are probably about 60%, very very possible so this could all be for nothing but for now, they are a Top 4 team.

Now if UW wins out and OSU beats UM, UW will not only be in the playoff but they'll be a Top 3 team, not Top 4.

Michigan Wins over .500+ teams = 5
Washington wins over .500+ teams = 2

Michigan wins over top 25 teams = 3
Washington wins over top 25 teams = 1

Michigan doesn't play another Top 25 team until the OSU game. UW plays two. Are you going to change your tune then if UW runs the table and has the same amount of wins over Top 25 teams as Michigan? Perhaps more if Stanford ends the season ranked?

Regardless, SC football's future looks pretty bright. Hopefully Muschamp doesn't flame out after a good couple seasons there too!

 

Can't say Trump didn't come up with a catchy slogan, right? How many other people have appropriated it? I don't really care that they used a slogan. It doesn't make them bad people. I don't tell people to fuck off if they talk about Hillary, Trump, McCain, Palin, Obama, etc to me and I definitely don't tell them to fuck off when they didn't direct a comment towards me. Elgin with that wasn't politically or racially charged.

It will take a miracle to ever become an SEC powerhouse, but maybe this job will have less pressure on Muschamp than Florida. One thing he's doing right that Spurrier was getting wrong is on the recruiting trail. I think the real test will be when he loses some of his coordinators (mainly Travaris Robinson, McClendon, and Lance Thompson). Bobby Bentley will be a hot commodity also.
