Looking at where Clemson was before Swinney took over for Bowden, I'd say he's done a pretty good job acting like a coach...

If he wasn't winning, no one would really care about how excited or loud he gets after wins. The bottom line is that he's built a powerhouse, so what he's doing is working.

 

How long till he hires you on his staff?

 

He's done a great job hiring coordinators and being a CEO of the program. See I can be fair...

 

Right. Its also closer to Anderson, which is run down, dirty, and is a terrible place to be.

 

I mean it's not like I've never been there.... I've had many friends go to school there, I almost went to school there, and I've been to multiple games there... it might have some nice scenery but it's in a shithole area of the state. Anderson is dirty and run down.

 

I'd argue the same for pretty much any college town in the south not named Athens.

I've seen plenty of people talk about how horrible Athens is. Plus Georgia fans are almost as bad as Clemson and UNC fans

 

You can argue that literally every major college program has "shitty fans" because they all have shithead drunk frat bros.

 

Chapel Hill is most definitely not a shithole though. It's a yuppie rich town.

 

Columbia is easily worse than Clemson and Anderson.

Charleston is the nicest city in SC and it's not even close.

 

Chapel Hill is "the Triangle" to me and exempt from when I say "college town," for the record. And every team has shitty fans, true, but North Carolina has got to just be a tri-state thing.

Athens is a great college town, but it also is in like the poorest county in the US with a population over some certain amount. That number is skewed by the fact that there's so many college kids there, but even still.
