Just hoping for a shot at either UM or OSU again in December

Chryst is a better coach by nearly every metric than Andersen or Bislama were. Being a dork because we lost to two playoff teams by a touchdown each is ... well, being a dork. The defense is a top unit and hornibrook is a fucking teenager with three years ahead of him after this. "This program will never be good enough" is the dumbest shit i've ever fucking heard

Wonder how far UW falls in the polls now. Two losses sure but easily the two best losses any team has

Yeah I was gonna say, I feel so much better about the teams trajectory now than I did under Andersen especially

probably back to the 11-13 range, where we belonged going into this week

I'm curious to see where Clemson is at....they can't stay at 3, can they?

  7. I agree with all this except I'm not sold on Hornibrook but we will see. Michigan loss was fine - this one sucks cuz they gave it away but it's whatever - rose bowl would be cool

I think Josh Rosen is overrated as hell but I'm not sure their backup has any place in FCS let alone FBS.

They've got to bumped out of the top 4 you would think. I was thinking Washington looks like a far scarier team at this point, but then again... they have beat absolutely nobody and shouldn't be rewarded for it.

Nebraska is overrated. Just as Miami was. They aren't good. Just a big name that hasn't gotten to the tough part of their schedule.

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

every time i see a Wisconsin quarterback throw a pass longer than 10 yards i'm in complete shock. doesn't matter if it's completed or not, just seeing the ball in the air that long for that team surprises me lol. aside from the Russell Wilson year, they just don't throw the ball all that much or all that far. watching them this year has been exciting and if Hornibook stays and gets better each year, they could be real, real scary the next 2-3 years.

well, we have had a grand total of one (1) quarterback get notable time since russell's year. so yes, joel stave was bad.

I do like that the guy who replaced Wilson is now his wide receiver in Seattle.

even before Wilson it was bad. Wisconsin never really has a QB since they're a running machine.

Tolzien was fine, but still obviously a game manager type

he isn't. that's tanner mcevoy, who stepped in for stave when he was injured. stave's on the vikings practice squad

Could've sworn it was the other way around haha. Regardless, it should've been. Stave was poop. I say as my team sports a reject from Purdue...

Bollinger, Stocco and Tolzien were all decent quarterbacks. At the very least, they all regularly threw longer than ten yards lol. We've only had two other quarterbacks in the last decade and one played for a single season. Wisconsin's issue is they go through three year cycles with QBs, so it seems like they've had quarterback issues for forever, when in reality they had issues with one quarterback.

Stave started the year before McEvoy was even in wisconsin and only sat the following year because he hurt his collarbone and then got the yips. He regained that job midway through the season and then there was a "battle" before last year and it ended with McEvoy at WR because he's 6'6 and can't throw the ball lol.

he transferred to a CC this winter. he tweeted support for the team last night, so id imagine the team chose hornibrook over him and that was that

I'm a Washington homer and I can agree with this. Thought shutting down McCaffery and #7 Stanford was gonna be a signature win but then Wazzu does the same thing last weekend so not so much.

Anyways, I think I've officially jumped on board Washington losing a game and getting a Rose Bowl shot over the playoff. I think they could compete there but clearly are not up to Bamas level yet.

I do think Chris Petersen is building the Wests version of Alabama though. They're starting to go into Oregon/California/Utah/Texas to get some of their big time talent.

Yeah, I thought at the time Washington crushing Stanford was a huge statement. But Stanford is just sooooo bad this year. Don't get me wrong, I like what Washington is doing out there and the direction they're headed, but I honestly have no idea what is going on with the Pac 12. Who's good? Who's bad? Everyone just seems bad at this point. I don't think it's unrealistic for Washington to run the table and get into the final 4 though. How they fared when they got there though? That's a different story. I can see them giving Michigan a hard time the way Colorado did though.

I think Washington is a much better team all around, primarily when it comes to depth than Colorado which is where they struggled late in that Michigan game and recently against USC.

I honestly think that Washington could beat every team outside of Bama. That's the only one I don't really care to see this year.
