I'm typically not a D-Rose guy, but if you can get him at $2.1 mil for a year, you do it with no questions asked. He's coming off a pretty good year and with signing for only a year, he'll be hungry to play for a bigger/longer contract. I really hope this happens.

All number 1 picks must pass through Cleveland

Rose doesn't really make sense on any team so who cares

I saw somewhere he'd cost 14 million for the year. 8 for the salary and 6 for the tax implications. Something along those lines.

The most the Cavs can offer him is $2.1 mil and then Gilbert would pay probably 4x that in luxury tax.

  5. He kinda makes sense for the Bulls now haha

Cavs are I. The repeater tax so any veteran minimum signing will cost about $8M in luxury tax.

I may have confused what I was seeing with this. This makes more sense.

I'd rather the lakers get him so he ruins Lonzo

Gonna bet that D-Rose is using the Cavs as leverage for either Lakers or another team sweetening the pot for him. I can't imagine him settling for the minimum plus it would go along with the theme this summer of the Cavs getting close to acquiring talent and then losing out at the last minute.

Wolves negotiating a 5 year, 148 million contract with Wiggins.

Pretty expensive but I expect him to still improve his game, and you really can't let him walk after next year.

Ugh, draftexpress is over. I had a feeling they would jump to ESPN with Woj. All that awesome scouting will probably be locked behind ESPN insider now. Bummer.

Can see why Kyrie would get pissed hearing all this talk about LeBron leaving but that's still shocking to me

Watch him go to the West lol

But seriously, Pat Riley and Dan Gilbert should join forces to leave Lebron with Derrick Rose, K Love, and Haslem while Kyrie parties it up in South Beach.

  19. Maybe firing the GM was a bad idea. Cavs in disarray.

Kyrie doesn't wanna play with Lebron? You know where Lebron isn't? Orlando.
