It's not Pritchard fault, bird was in charge and I think the Celtics are just leaking BS not to look bad.

 

Weird cause the information leaked makes them look far worse haha. The only thing worse than trying to sell your future to rent an overrated player for one year is lying about it lol.

 

It just doesn’t make a lot of sense PR wise. Just saying you didn’t want a guy who wasn’t going to stay? Especially for what you where willing to deal. That would be the story to put out if you didn’t want to look bad, not just the offer.

 

Also I don’t feel Teague is much of an upgrade from Rubio. He’s a little better behind the arch with some off ball movement, but below Rubio in just about everything else. Also Rubio is cheaper. Meh.

Teague isn't a great point guard and doesn't fit much better than Rubio, probably just best they can get

 

I will never understand basketball contracts. Terrified to re-sign superstars but will gladly break the bank for good-to-great players.

Teague, Wiggins, Butler, Milsap, Towns is a crazy good starting lineup. What's the bench look like though?
