This is the worst ran franchise in all of NBA - glad I jumped ship

i can get down on that aldrich deal, a little over 7 million a year for a role player seems reasonable now with all these crazy contracts coming out.

 

And it seems like Clip fans were mad he left. That's how you can tell you got a good player

 

Really don't want to see Durant on the Warriors. If it's all about a ring, then sure it's a smart move. But I love watching Durant be THE guy. Even with Westbrook, Durant was taking plenty of shots a night. He's so fun to watch with how smooth he plays the game. I don't like the idea of him sharing shots with Curry, Klay, and Dray. Just wouldn't be as fun as a fan I feel.

My prediction is the same as most. He'll do a 1+1 with OKC and take the big money next season when the cap jumps again.

 

I can't imagine spending your entire career in a place as nice as Miami and then going to Milwaukee.

He's from Chicago and went to school at Marquette. I'm sure it's as much a chance to be close to home as it is anything else.

 

and i think he has some kids that live around the chicago area, as well.

Ahh shit I totally forgot he went to Marquette. I remember watching his run in the tourney that one year. He was an animal.

 

i still find it weird that Durant spent 4 hours with the Clippers. i know he already eliminated them, but if you knew you were likely to stay with your current team, what would make you spend four hours with another team? something about him spending that much time with another team makes me think he won't resign with OKC. although it could have largely been just fucking around and talking / eating, but if i was pretty well set at staying but just wanted to meet with teams to see what else was out there, i'd give each time 90 minutes or something, not allow it to be open ended and end up at four hours.

 

i remember watching that Marquette run in the tournament at Marquette (older cousin went there) and it was so much fun and so, so, so insane.

 

"prediction" = we're throwing bricks at a wall and this sounds like a likely conclusion to people at home so lets go ahead cause woj was already wrong once and there's nothing else to talk about
