I'm a fan of the Biyombaka combo but still have no idea what the Magic are doing. Seems like they're just throwing shit at the wall at this point and hoping something will stick

 

I don't get it. Trading Vucevic to have a starting duo of Biyombo/Ibaka would limit them so much on offense.

 

If I were a good gm I'd be dialing up hennigan asap...

 

Vucevic getting way less than what they're about to give Biyombo and is a much more proven player. They already added a defensive presence in the paint with Ibaka. What is the point of dishing out a big contract for another one and at the expense of losing a serious offensive threat?

 

Makes 0 sense to deal for Ibaka if they were going to pay biyambo... At least they should've traded Vuc before signing him... Now they have less leeway...

Watch it be Jae crowder Amir Johnson and two picks for Vuc when Horford ends up staying

 

It would've made more since to just keep Oladipo and Harris, and then sign Biyombo.

Now that'd be a good looking team. But no. They shit the bed.

 

They probably won't trade anyone and this was hennigans way of justifying all the dumb trades by spending all the money he can to make it seem worth it. If they don't take a serious step he's gone anyway, gotta go all in.
