How do Hayward and the Jazz go from good to great?

 

Pumped to see the new CBA is mostly hammered out. That's a big relief. Love the expanded rosters and two-way contracts.

 

The two way contracts are great. It should be a big boost for the D-League and hopefully give that extra push for every team to get their own d-league team.

His interviews with Pop and KG were always special. This sucks.

 

I really think we are close to all teams having their own D-League team. I still think there will need to be a slight push to further incentivize some teams (perhaps through financial means) but I think it's a good thing. I really wish the minimum age for the draft would have been revoked as well. Think about some of the busts in the league. If they could have learned the NBA game and their team's system in the minors it may have saved some careers, or allowed a trade to find the player a better fit.

 

Man I knew it was coming at some point but I'm real bummed about Sager. A legitimate icon for the best sport.

 

The Motiejunas contract was rescinded, his back must be legit fucked

 

I told you guys... He is basically stuck between still being able to play and not passing a physical because he isn't healthy. I wonder what it is exactly.

 

Cavs have a D-League team. Couldn't save Anthony Bennett...

 

Bennett, in reality had a lot of things working against him. Namely the shoulder injury. I don't really hold much ill will from that draft bc none of the top teams had it figured out. It's a revisionist history. Greek Freak was the exception, not the rule.

 

I don't think the Cavs ever sent Bennett down though.
