I think that's a win tbh they could've let him be an rfa again and haggled him to take less or they'd keep matching and doing the same thing over and over. Maybe he could've gotten more but I just cant see a team desperate enough to pay more than 9m a year for a guy who may never be healthy enough to pass a physical. Its been really weird

 

I put pretty much the whole thing on DMo's agent, B.J. Armstrong. This isn't his first time trying to use leverage where he had none. I think he is a bit reckless and might want to exercise more caution on future deals. I gotta believe word gets around the league quickly, and DMo will probably get himself a new agent at some point. It's not a good look.

Yep. He is under a bigger name, but he is also the same agent that successfully got Draymond less than the max a few seasons ago.

Lebron and KD both finished 5th in MVP voting those seasons.

 

I get where he's going with that, but there is an ENORMOUS difference between (comparing averages at) 19 games vs 78 games. I think it's way too early to make those comparisons.

Also, in LeBron's 4th year, he carried one of the worst supporting casts ever to an NBA Finals appearance.

 

Isaiah was really good last night, I think they'll use two point rotations more like in ATL though. At least Foye wont be burning minutes.

 

I'm going to the grizz cavs game next Tuesday while I'm in Cleveland for work! Really excited because somehow I've managed never to see Lebron in person before.
