He's not showing up to Rockets camp for physical or anything at all.

Donatas Motiejunas got a $37M contract and ghosted on his physical

 

He can't pass a physical... that's why this whole thing is weird AF. Morey knew this so he matched because he'll going back to being an RFA all over again.

 

DMo has essentially been railroaded by his agent. Per his agent's advisory this summer, DMo turned down the qualifying offer for this year. His agent then negotiated a pretty bad offer sheet with Brooklyn that could easily be matched by Houston. Now his agent has advised DMo to not report for his physical in Houston. Basically DMo is not earning a contract in any capacity when there are still concerns whether or not he's healthy. It's bad advice from an agent, who seems to be trying to run his client out of the league.

 

This makes me really glad the Pistons were able to back out of that trade

 

He can't pass the physical, idk how you keep playing if that's the case. I know in the NFL they can look past it but idk about the NBA.

 

Yeah, it's hindsight, but if you know you aren't 100% you should just take the qualifying offer to have guaranteed contract. Spend the season getting healthy and around a team. And then sign a prove-it contract afterwards. Whether it was the agent or DMo, they totally misread the market.

 

Really disappointed with Luke Walton's defensive schemes. They weren't a problem in the first 20 games because the Lakers could still outscore half of their opponents. But since these injuries, it's even more important to hold teams to 20-25 points per quarter, and they just can't seem to play team defense.

40 points off the bench from Monroe Beas and Brogdon really helped

 

This version of ESPNs halftime and pregame crew is probably the best they've ever had. I liked the one with magic but this is the closest they've gotten to tnt so far.

 

This is awesome. Grew up a Bulls fan, but always appreciated the Bucks bc of Glenn Robinson. Pretty cool to this guy doing work.
