Also, if the trade for Cooks doesn't go through, who would you recommend I go after next?

 

Everyone should not shit on that Rishard Mathews offer though.

Ware is sitting on your bench. So he has no use. Rishard has 3 straight 10+ games and Tennessee is on fire, playing for a playoff spot. I'd say Pryor is a no.

If they say no on Cooks, who else could they give you with Rishard as he is probably a WR3?


This is how to win fantasy, don't live off names. I'd want nothing to do with Hopkins. You play based on how teams offenses are playing and will play.

 

He also had a couple double digit games in weeks 5 and 6 (I play in a 0.5 PPR league). If the commissioners say no to Cooks, Rishard is the only other WR I'd be interested in on this guy's team, besides Jordan Matthews.

I agree with you though. I couldn't care less about the names. Hopkins has been a statistical nightmare this season because of Osweiler. I don't want any part of that going into the playoffs.

I don't know how I feel about some of the offers I've gotten today. Baldwin hasn't exactly been reliable for most of the season until these past couple weeks. Idk if this means Wilson and the Seahawks' passing game are back or not, but I already have Wilson. I feel like I'd rather only have Wilson if it turns out their passing game is not back than to be let down by two players from the same team, if that makes sense.

I'm concerned about the QB situation in Cleveland, despite some good games from Prior. Plus some bad matchups coming up and the bye week. Adams and the Packers have a handful of tough matchups coming up (Eagles, Texans, Seahawks).

Rishard still has a matchup with Denver in week 14 right after their bye week, which doesn't sound fun either, but at least Rishard has been showing some consistency lately that Baldwin hasn't exactly been doing and doesn't have as many tough matchups like Prior or Adams do. Plus, like you said, the Titans' offense has been on fire lately with putting up points.

 

theres no way a Ware for Cooks deal should be vetoed. that would be moronic.

 

My league owner has been pissy towards Cooks all season because he's bitter about him putting up big points against him. He's actually been pissy about fantasy in general this year and I've won two years straight, so I wouldn't be surprised if he sees this as a play for me because I'm in first place trading with the guy in last place who probably won't make the playoffs even when 8/10 teams are making the playoffs this year

Anybody rarely ever trades in my league so it's comes across as a big deal when it does. The other commissioners and I really only evaluate the trades to see if they're fair or not. Although the main commissioner was doing some really slimey collusion with his friend last year, which I called him out on. His friend is no longer in our league this year, for multiple reasons haha
