Easy example is that I would currently choose to listen both of those albums over Kanye's Graduation without blinking an eye, despite ranking Kanye higher.
I like the Dustin solo album better than anything Thrice ever have released. Sorry to, uh, people on this website
No need to apologize! You like what you like! Dustin also released a very solid solo album in 2015 - called Carry The Fire. And if holiday music is at all your thing, he recorded a full LP of holiday/Christmas songs in 2008, called This Good Night Is Still Everywhere , that is a fave of mine during that time of year.
Yeah I'm back all the way in on Daggermouth. If you never listened, it's some of the catchiest pop punk out there. Dude's voice is...not very good but it grows on you!
Man, I am excited for the 2008 thread. Looking at my list, there is so much good shit. Sludge and skramz heavy in the best way.
I'm going to work on mine this afternoon since its finally not an end of month shit show here at the office.
We may disagree on the best FOB, but I hope we can all agree that anything they’ve released post-hiatus is at best a pale comparison and at worst just downright awful
The one exception being “Lake Effect Kid” which I’d say wouldn’t count because it’s just a finished version of a song they originally released in 2008, and is good precisely because it fits perfectly within that era lol
idk I think they're just as hit or miss after as they were before. Maybe they don't hit quite as high highs.
Hard disagree. While the post-hiatus albums are a little more uneven, there's some excellent stuff on each of them.
I really really reallyyyy love Save Rock and Roll...and I will Die on that hill. AB/AP was interesting and has some good songs I love on it, like Jet Pack Blues and Fourth of July
