We got through the Star Wars years but 2008 will probably be another tough one. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything from that year that would easily beat Batman.

Dogville was such a unique experience. I remember going from thinking it was gimmicky to starting to not even notice the lack of scenery and set but really disliking the plot and characters, to realizing that was the point and then absolutely loving it. It’s one of the few times I got strong feelings from the credits of a movie.

Dogville was definitely something I hated until the very end. That catharsis of her revenge is what is missing in most of his other films of misery.

Its Rob Zombies Debut. Its obvious that he has a deep love and knowledge of horror but he's doing it his way and its very fun to watch.

Synecdoche will get my vote but it probably isn't popular enough.

Music, Gaming, Movies and Guys = Life

I love a great many superhero films, which I am not ashamed to state but most are unlikely to make my top three and even fewer are likely to be my top pick

LOTR is the only time I ever fell asleep in the theater. The Good Shepherd was close though

I think he hates Suburbicon, directed by Clooney also staring Matt Damon with glasses

Clooney may suck at directing, ive seen Ides of March but cant remember anything that happened

I rewatched Good Night and Good Luck recently and was pleasantly surprised. I remember thinking Ides of March was okay. I don’t remember that much about Confessions of a Dangerous Mind or Leatherheads. Everything else seems bad.
