But yeah check it out RIYL: Thrice, a website that used to be around called Absolutepunk.net, and Long Island hardcore.

Broken Social Scene- You Forgot It In People, and the self titled

New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
Brendan Canning - Something for All of Us
The National - Boxer, Alligator

And probably a few more Im forgetting that I wouldn't want to leave out

Yeah MOF is possibly the best indie rock album of the 2000-2009 decade.

 

I would count that particular Brand New album and Thrice's Air and Beggars.

 

Also we need more girls.

Kaki King - Until We Felt Red and Dreaming of Revenge have some excellent indie rock moments on her more full-band songs.

Lot of great indie rock bands came out of Broken Social Scene too like Metric and Stars. Brendan Canning's first record rocks too (as do his later ones but he went in a contemporary folk direction)
