I am doing a best movie of the 2000 bracket on my IG stories. Populist choices, but your voice can be heard!

I watched In the Mood For Love (definitely for the first time, I know I said I watched it before but I had to have fallen asleep or something). It was good, but I am not putting it on any all timers list or anything. Second Wong Kar-Wai film to fall below expectations for me

Fallen Angels and Happy Together are my favourites from him. Chungking and In the Mood for Love are both great but yeah I don't think either of those has ever hit for me like they seem to for a lot of people.

Chungking Express has the great Faye Wong version of Dreams, which is one of my favourite songs in a movie ever.

I like Chungking Express a lot, but I watched it on a plane to Hong Kong a few years back, and it felt like the best film I'd ever seen.
