That seems normal?? Ppl at my work have dishes they bring specifically for the break room. I keep a stash of tea mugs and I don't see the plate thing as a huge difference

 

I didn't know that was anything unusual. My current and last job had dishwashers for employees to use.

 

Shes says cause its a dinner plate and I should buy some paper plates, but that's wasteful.

She also grew up taking social etiquette classes but I don't know what this has to do wit that.

I have a cereal bowl at work that I use when needed.
