I say that as someone who when I finally got rid of a very lumberjack beard after 16 months some coworkers’ first words to me were, “thank you”.

 

i've committed to a quarantine beard for the entire duration of the WFH order. I did not anticipate it lasting this long in the beginning and there's still no end in sight.

 

niiiice! i'm doing a chinstrap beard into a handlebar mustache (so no facial hair on my chin, not sure if it has an official name) and people saw it on Friday on a Teams call and there was lots of sighing going on.

My wife is a hairstylist, but I had her shave my head for the first time in 7 years when quarantine started because there was no way in hell I was going to wake up every morning and deal with my hair if I didn't have to be anywhere.

Also haven't shaved my 'beard' in two months and I look like a 14-year-old trying to grow a beard. It's pathetic.

Haven't been in the thread for a while, so maybe this is the case for others here, but is anyone else quarantined away from their SO? We've been handling it well (talk every night, watch movies together through Netflix Party, online gaming, etc.) but I haven't seen her in almost 2 months now. It's definitely a struggle, and would love some advice from any who could provide
