I suppose, but I wish they'd just un match rather than ignore. Then again I have had experiences where you can really get to know that person, and sometimes not feel any chemistry, so maybe it's saving any disappointment. I can't remember the last time I matched with someone and things just flowed.
Eh I’m on the flip side of it often too. I match with someone who looks interesting, don’t message because I’m busy/can’t think of anything to say then a week or so goes by and it feels like it’s too late to message so I don’t. Just how it goes with dating apps as frustrating as it can be.
i mean i dont have a huge amount of experience with the dating apps but when i was on them i did the internal debate that people seemed to be more "serious" about dating on Bumble so the conversations tended to lead somewhere but it was filled with awful frat bros that weren't my "type' (coulda just been a texas thing, don't know if its like that across the board). Or tinder that had more of a mix of people but a lot less serious abut actually meeting up, talking, etc.
I've had the same conversations with people here in the UK about Bumble. I have met some nice people off Tinder, but for me it's a luck of the draw.
I’m going on tinder for a week just to find a date to go watch sonic the hedgehog with. I even had @ComedownMachine help me make a bio and choose the profile picture need that perfect person for sonic
I haven't been on many dates per se but one time I was flirting with a girl I really liked at my housemates party, we ended up back in my room and started having sex and the next thing I knew I woke up in my bed and my housemates all laughed at me and explained I passed out on her mid "slamming taint" as one colorfully put it, and she stormed out and went home. oh yeah to make matters worse this was all after her telling me about her father passing the year prior.
went on a first date last night. met at bar, having a good time and then she asks if i want to go to a burlesque show. i didnt know what to expect, but i said yes. it was the most interesting date of my life
