It’s just me saying I’m down lol. Also, what the fuck are you trying to say with that last sentence? Lol
was told by coworkers today that two of our coworkers are officially dating and have been secretly together for about a month. now, as someone with EXTENSIVE knowledge and first-hand experience dating a coworker, i laughed amusedly to myself at the train wreck that will befall them. the most awkward part is that their cubicles are literally 3 feet apart and basically facing each other. so when they inevitably break up, unless they somehow do it on super cool terms, it's gonna be awkward as fuuuuuuuuck. what's wildest to me most of all is that i thought she was so much smarter than she's turned out to be. no offense to the guy but he's... um, an idiot and he's also 7 years younger than her. i feel like most women at 29 want someone closer to their age by a year or so and don't want to deal with guys just out of college but here we are. i really feel this is a good example of people getting together simply because they spend a lot of time together by outside means. in this case - their cubicles are close together, so thus they started talking. but if his cubicle was still on the other side of the office, i don't feel they would have started to like each other. some may say that's fate but i think that just shows that relationships and feelings aren't based on anything more than proximity to a person on a reoccurring basis (not 100% of the time, but most of the time). pretty baffling situation and i look forward to the nuclear fallout, popcorn in hand.
ah, i forgot the word "this" before "still. and threw an extra "is" in there after kids because apparently i had a stroke while typing (and no, not the new kind of stroke hehe) so "is this still the happening phrase ("coward") with the kids these days?"
Lmao this guy (not the frontrunner) does not like Reagan but he too voted for Gary Johnson. Why does this keep happening?!
I am such a fucking sucker. She’s mentioned that Down By the River by Neil Young is one of her favorite songs of all time and I found a vinyl of him performing it live in the 80s and will be giving it to her for Christmas. Got it shipped from fucking France. We aren’t even a couple but it just felt right
This must just be a thing around here. So far like everyone I talk to is very middle ground with politics and are like "both sides are awful and they're basically as bad as the other!" and I'm like vom. Unfortunately in this area that might be as liberal as I'm going to find
Ok but my point is that even if she doesn’t have a record player she has vinyl so it’s not like she’ll just have one random vinyl now
I’m genuinely interested in someone for the first time in over three years and all can do is catch shit on this website and wake up to texts like this Gotta love it
Anyways, I will be meeting her dogs tonight which is far more nerve wracking than meeting any human she could introduce me to. So I went to The Dog Bakery and bought them some gourmet treats so I can win over their love
