ok computer wins with 56 points. 3eb was close but came up short with 48 and more than doubled foo fighters with 21.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

sorta gutted for 3eb, but ok computer is an incredible record and totally deserving of the praise it gets

Whatever and Ever Amen is kind of spotty as a whole, but overall is a great album and Brick was a song that always seemed larger than life to me (when it was one of my favorites wayy before I understood the lyrics haha) and holds up beautifully to this day. Also really big fan of Fair. Some nice arrangement stuff throughout the record, too, from the pretty cool use of distorted bass and how comfortable they are to not overdub the shit out of being a three piece.

You’ve gotta understand Pat, for me this is like Morning Glory losing to Mellon Collie all over again.

While listening to Scott Weiland's debut solo album 12 Bar Blues, I just remembered that the Deleo brothers and Eric Kretz recorded an album with another singer (Dave Coutts of the band Ten Inch Men) that came out in 1997, under the name Talk Show.

I'd have to revisit the full album, I doubt it would crack my top 20 - but the single from it is still a '90s banger that showcases Dean DeLeo's always tight guitar work.

Does anybody remember this band Fretblanket? I think i got their cd in the dollar bin. They seem to have been lost to the sands of time
