Another tough one for me.

1. Lost Highway
2. Starship Troopers
3. Funny Games

I guess. Others that could make this list if I give it more thought are Perfect Blue, Open Your Eyes, Boogie Nights, and Jackie Brown. Goodwill Hunting and LA Confidential were favorites growing up. Nothing to Lose is a very underrated comedy.

 

Starship Troopers wins it with 15 votes. Boogie Nights was in second place with 12 votes. Starship Troopers will move on to the bracket.

 

This is the first correct film to win in several years.

Yes. It's proof that the correct film indeed did not win.

 

I wasn’t ready for Ossos when my friend showed it to me almost a decade ago. I need to revisit it now that I’ve grown to think the world of Costa

Just saw a movie from 1997 that I didn't mention when this thread was live but I got a lot of enjoyment out of it---Mouse Hunt. Forgot how much I, for some reason, liked that movie lol

 

I loved that movie at the time. It really captured the feeling of a live-action cartoon.

 

That's a perfect way to describe it actually. I can't explain why but evvery time I saw it was on I tended to keep it on

 

Looks like Starship Troopers is streaming for free on Tubi (whatever that is). Do yourself a favor if you've never watched it.

another one to add to this as it’s been on HBO lately….The Edge with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin. Always enjoyed this movie
