Man - I am on record as saying that "Right Now" is up there with the best VH songs, I don't even care how blasphemous that might seem. I have SO many memories of that video on MTV as a kid.

And also shoutout for the inclusion of Toad the Wet Sprocket! That band was huge at the time - and that album still holds up for me. It will be in my top 20 for sure.

Toad are from my hometown, definitely were our local heroes at the time! And yes, Right Now is a banger and especially as a mixtape opening track haha

Oh nice! Yeah, my Dad was always a big fan of theirs - still is.

Speaking of local heroes, ironic - hometown heroes of mine made their debut in '91 too and will be on my list.

Hint: their big multi-platinum splash wasn't until '94.

"Money Don't Matter 2night" is one of his most underrated classics.

    But...then there's "Jughead"

Roll the Bones isn’t perfect, but there are days where “Dreamline” and “Bravado” are one of my favorite one-two punch to open a record in history.

I'm a bit ashamed that I've never heard the full album, being that I've seen Rush twice live - but, as we say, blind spots. Will get to it soon, hopefully.

Checked out Bullhead by Melvins , which is pretty cool! I have heard Melvins before, but I can’t remember what album (Houdini maybe?) , but not for a while.

I liked this though, it’s like thrash metal, but played at half speed, full of these crushing riffs and intensity, but not the breakneck pace. I feel like I might have enjoyed it even more as an instrumental album - I didn’t particularly like the vocals, but really dug the instrumental sections. Can see how they’d be hugely influential on a lot of more experimental metal / post-metal stuff in the years to come.
