    My last 1989 listen is Shawn Colvin’s debut. Very into this album, a really good slice of late 80’s adult contempo like Peter Gabriel, Robbie Robertson, Bonnie Raitt and Sting with a folky lean

    I just cannot go back like this.... As said previously elsewhere by someone, music swallowed me up in the late 80s, early 90s, when alternative radio was all the rage, The Holy Trinity of Emo was not FOB, MCR and Panic, but instead - the Cure, Echo, and The Smiths.

    When concerts were plentiful, sleeping out for tickets was necessary, and Lollapalooza was King.

    Thank you for the walk down memory lane though... so many tapes of these, so many.
