Glad there's another week for 86, because I managed to listen to just one record, Fizzjob by Didjits. It had a cool cover, so was pretty intrigued by it, but it ended up being fairly middle of the road hardcore punk stuff. Nothing bad about it, just very little in there for me to want to return to it.

Doing some Hornsby now. Really enjoying both Scenes from the Southside and The Way It Is

    :freeze frame high five:

I've been listening to "Every Little Kiss" pretty much every day since we hit '86. Just melodically thrilling to me, every single time.

Listening to Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express by The Go-Betweens for the first time. Some really cool stuff on it. The closer is fantastic.

Listening to Hope in a Darkened Heart by Virginia Astley and really enjoying it. Arranged/Produced by Ryuichi Sakamoto. P4k reviewed her new album and made reference to From Gardens Where We Feel Secure as her "classic", I guess, but I'm enjoying this one a lot more.
