Beyond excited for this. I think WW1 is fascinating. I’ve read and seen so much about it, and it sounded like one of the most horrific wars in all of history. I still struggle to wrap my head around the fact that it actually happened when you see how many actually died. The technology and conditions and outright brutality. I really hope that this conveys the tone and grit that a lot of war films try to scrimp out on for a lesser classification and wider audience.

 

So I guess it is continuous

If you go to a Regal movie theater they show a behind the scenes preview before the movie detailing the “one continuous shot” stuff. It’s going to be long takes edited together to appear as one continuous take, the featurete shows them taking breaks because they have to wait for the right cloud cover to continue filming for continuity
