the actors playing tony and Zach are closer to my age than they are to the actor playing clay, let alone an actual high schooler lol that's pretty common though. i think tom welling was like 25 when he started playing ... a freshman in high school lol
It's common but still ridiculous lol. I think I find it more ridiculous now than ever because I'm now the age the actors are when they're playing characters considerably younger than themselves lol
I’m no shame very excited for this. This show didn’t need 4 seasons, in fact it probably didn’t need 2, but I’ve enjoyed all three as dumb, mindless entertainment.
I know this probably isn't the intended reaction, but the opening line of E01 made me absolutely howl. "It comes down to one question: will you survive high school?" like they've gotta fucking with us at least a little bit.
The scene where Clay's parents gave Justin the picture made me laugh so much. The adoption thing is just so ridiculous to me based off how old the actor is/how old he looks lol
I've only watched the first episode but I said to my sister, "Hey look, Clay's face is already busted in the first episode and he's lying to his parents about how he got his injuries."
"Going back to school after a 2 week suspension is like coming back from war." I mean I guess that tracks. I've had 3 day suspensions and going back after those was like coming back from prison, so fair enough.
I thought Season 1 was legit a good show. I feel ridiculous whenever I watch anything that takes place in high school though.
