2001: A Space Odyssey Mulholland Drive Persona Lost in Translation The Mirror The Element of Crime Suspiria True Romance Blue Velvet The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
If you meant the first one, I love it! Watched it last night on Starz or something and my wife had never seen it (didn't like it). I was pretty young when I saw it for the first time, it blew my little mind.
The sound choices (effects and lack of score) are so unique and work so well on the creep factor. Also I realized last night how good of an actor the dad is during the scene after he brings the girl back to the house and he's searching in his head for a reason to beat on Leatherface.
In no particular order: Wet Hot American Summer Seven Step Brothers the Before Sunrise trilogy Seven Psychopaths Dumb and Dumber Jurassic Park Love Actually This Is Spinal Tap Rear Window My cut my list down from like 25 to 10, which was so hard...
I have such a tough time picking my favorite movie(s), but The Jerk is what I usually say when someone asks.
1. The Master 2. Eyes Wide Shut 3. There Will Be Blood 4. Barry Lyndon 5. Tree of Life 6. Blue Velvet 7. Stalker 8. Apocalypse Now 9. Contempt 10. 2001: A Space Odyssey
The Master is a bold choice. It is something that has become even better over the years. The way it portrays violence (animalistic, uncoordinated, quick and full of rage) is something that sticks in the head. Too many people became hung up on the "it's the Scientology movie" angle and have not given it a proper analysis.
1. Boyhood 2. Pulp Fiction 3. Do the Right Thing 4. The 40-Year-Old Virgin 5. Up in the Air 6. The Social Network 7. Back to the Future 8. The Wolf of Wall Street 9. Say Anything... 10. Clueless
There Will Be Blood Pulp Fiction A Clockwork Orange Seven Samurai Army of Shadows Alien 12 Angry Men City Lights Blade Runner Twelve Monkeys
Pulp Fiction Sweeney Todd Gettysburg Gods and Generals Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind The Dark Knight The Godfather Perks of Being a Wallflower Shrek 2 Scott Pilgrim v the World No order
I have a real hard time putting together "all time" lists for any medium of entertainment, but American Beauty is sorta my go-to answer for favorite film
hmmm. 1. The Shining 2. The Tree of Life 3. There Will Be Blood 4. Punch-Drunk Love 5. Children of Men 6. 2001 7.Beginners 8. Ponyo 9. The "Before" trilogy (yes I'm counting that as one) 10. Lost In Translation Honorable mentions: Days of Heaven, Mulholland Dr., 12 Angry Men, Eyes Wide Shut, Eternal Sunshine (I always forget how much I like this movie), Where the Wild Things Are, The Iron Giant

This is very hard Dazed and Confused True Romance Boogie Nights The Master Goodfellas The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Wet Hot American Summer Spring Breakers After that, I don't really know. There's films that I could watch endlessly and have memorized but know they aren't "better" than other films that I've only seen once or twice yet have left a huge impact on my viewing experience.
According to Letterboxd, films I've given 5 stars to: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 This is Not a Film Street Trash Apocalypse Now The Sandlot Hoop Dreams House of 1000 Corpses Can't Hardly Wait Inglourious Basterds Toy Story 2001 The Tree of Life The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Before Sunrise Before Sunset Before Midnight The Act of Killing Punch Drunk Love Spring Breakers Citizen Kane Au Hazard Balthazar KIDS Boyhood Jaws The 400 Blows Breathless On the Waterfront Dazed and Confused Halloween The Shining Scream The Godfather Pt. 2 Wet Hot American Summer The Thin Red Line Boogie Nights Pulp Fiction True Romance Reservoir Dogs Goodfellas Taxi Driver The Big Lebowski Raging Bull The Master Holy Motors
