My top four (Au Hasard Balthazar, La Dolce Vita, Masculin feminin, The Godfather Part II) are really co-equals in my head.
Doing this with very little thought off the top of my head, can't even say it's in a particular order 1. Jaws 2. Donnie Darko 3. Fight Club 4. No Country For Old Men 5. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 6. Tremors 7. Superbad 8. Wedding Crashers 9. The Godfather 10. The Goonies This would probably change if I actually thought about it at all, but this was basically 'first movies that came to mind', what movies do I almost always leave on when I flip through channels and see that they're on, endless watchability, etc. Thor: Ragnarok is one I could probably throw on there too under those conditions.
Looking at my list from 2017. I'd definitely swap out 500 Days and probably Moonrise Kingdom and swap in Interstellar and EEAAO. Could easily swap out Darko for The Shining or The Matrix too. No idea what the order would be now. I also cheated by putting whole trilogies in there twice lol, but it's hard for me to separate them. Still so many older movies I need to watch.
