I started thinking about this movie again today and I'm legitimately laughing just thinking about some of the scenes. I don't know if I'm just in a good mood or what, but I'm finding it funnier now than I even did while watching it. "You can say that again. Tell me about it. You can say that again. Tell me about it." "Hey Tom? ...thanks."
In no particular order 1. Pulp Fiction 2. Up 3. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 4. Hostel 5. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 6. Ghostbusters 7. Jurassic Park 8. Vanilla Sky 9. Fight Club 10. Step Brothers The list is ever changing though.
Thanks, lol. Those ten movies usually stay around my "top ten list" in any given situation. Top ten lists are pretty hard to come up with. If I'm being honest, Step Brothers is probably my favorite movie of all time considering how many times I've seen it and that I probably quote it at least once a day.
On the DVD extras there is a part where Adam Scott keeps saying "let's go _________ in 20 minutes" and just keeps inserting random douche bag activities is one of the greatest things of all time.
Interstellar That Thing You Do The Perks of Being a Wallflower Jurassic Park The Other Guys Turbo Kid Ghostbusters (500) Days of Summer Wet Hot American Summer American Beauty This was way harder than I thought it was going to be.
Because I'm bored at work: Independence Day There Will Be Blood No Country for Old Men The Lion King Raising Arizona Swingers The Departed Dead Poet's Society Training Day Remember the Titans Trying to avoid any recency bias in this list. Eek.
The Shawshank Redemption Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Breaking the Waves Lilja 4-ever Apocalypse Now The Thing Eyes Without a Face Oldboy Rebecca It's A Wonderful Life
Mine are all pretty cliche... Fargo Pulp Fiction The Master Annie Hall Manhattan Kill Bill Kill Bill 2 The Deer Hunter Beasts of the Southern Wild The Squid and the Whale
1.Billy Madison 2.Happy Gilmore 3.The Wedding Singer 4.Home Alone 5.Forrest Gump 6.Catch Me If You Can 7.Gladiator 8.Saving Private Ryan 9.Friday Night Lights 10.The Mighty Ducks
I always hear about how incredible The Master is, and yet I haven't sat down and watched it. Waiting for the right mood I guess.
I think the films that are most formative to me will always be The Master, Eyes Wide Shut, and Blue Velvet
i wish I remembered Blue Velvet. I remember liking it, but not that many details. Saw it awhile ago. Big David Lynch fan?
I like David Lynch a lot but I'm not a crazy fanatic about him or spent as much time with his work as a lot of people tend to do. But yeah he's made some of the best films of all time. I've really only seen Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, and Eraserhesd, and original Twin Peaks. Inland Empire has been on my radar for a long time.
Yeah, you've seen more than I have. I've seen Elephant Man, Twin Peaks, and Blue Velvet. I couldn't make it through Dune. But I'm always keeping my eye out on what he's doing. Have any favorite directors?
Eh I'm kinda basic with favorite directors. I like Paul Thomas Anderson and Scorsese a lot. I'm trying to get more and more into Terrence Malick. I've got a whole whole lot of foreign films to see.
Hard for me to nail down a definitive top ten list due to my tastes shifting and me loving so many movies. Even just from my Letterboxd profile which doesn't feature every film I have watched I would have 87 films I have rated five stars to choose from.
Same here. I have a HUGE list of movies and selected the ones I like the most lately. Whats Letterboxd
A site where you post reviews and ratings of films you have watched. Since I love stats it is the primary place where I post my reviews. Check it out - Letterboxd • Your life in film
