Now we just need to manifest a new Team Sleep album

 

For me, there's a lot to match up to with last year's EP. Cadavre Exquis was my least favourite at the time but I ended up listening to it about 15 times yesterday; that chorus progression feels so good.

 

I'm hoping he picks it back up after the new Deftones album next year.

I got completely swept along on first listen, it's hard for me to make any critical judgement.

But I loved it.

Immediate favourites were Pleasure, Runner, Big Youth/End Youth, Grace, Girls Float † Boys Cry, and the title track.

I've listened to this about four times now. I'm restraining myself from writing a drooling mini-essay so as not to build impossibly high, inevitably self-defeating first listen expectations for everyone.

So I'll restrict myself to this — those quick panning motorcycle sounds on Pleasure are really cool.

Really digging this. I feel like this fits well with this time of year. Doing a haunted ghost tour tonight and I think this would be a fitting soundtrack.

 

finally chino put out a full album of low-key remakes of smashing pumpkins "eye" and i really like it
