The Batman will be getting a sequel.

“The Batman” is getting a sequel, with Robert Pattinson set to return as Gotham’s fiercest defender.

Warner Bros. revealed its plans for another Caped Crusader story during its Tuesday evening presentation at CinemaCon, the annual trade show for theater owners. “The Batman” director Matt Reeves was on hand to announce the news that he will write and direct the follow-up, but he did not provide any details about what the movie will entail.

Not to be that guy, but I'm not sure Colin Farrel and Reeves knew he was the Penguin either. I'll shut up now.

I was so impressed watching this movie last night. I loved the serial killer zodiac element with the film. It hit so many Batman points while trying not be cliched or a copy. The look was so good from Reeves, and the casting worked out really well. I’m glad they aimed for a world of realism. Also, it was nice to see a comic movie where the hero and villain didn’t have the same powers and due everything because it’s their moral duty. The dark angle on this worked so well.
