  2. I'm not sure I agree with that statement, but let's accept the premise as true. Isn't that a good thing? That in 12 or 24 months we've had that much progress? I'm not sure I understand what point you're trying to make.

Kicking the phone out of her hand wouldn't be the right way to handle it either. There doesn't need to be a physical point made.

  5. What a way to treat a fan. I'm so glad I used to support this band.

He's evolved to physically harming young women now instead of just doing it in his lyrics

i knew this band hated women but i always thought it was in a metaphorical sense.

The worst thing that should've happened to this girl is getting escorted off the stage. I can't even process all the responses saying she deserved it. The pop punk scene is really fucking toxic.

Upsetting on many levels. I've supported this band for some time, and still enjoy their music. Hard to do after reading stories like this. There's absolutely no reason to do that to a human being. It's aggressive and dangerous, and has no place at a music venue where people are trying to enjoy themselves.

Really? Because I liked this band back when Under Soil & Dirt came out (2011), and there was already a lot of backlash against them for their lyrics, and we're going on nearly 5 years since then. I'd be shocked to see a positive TSSF thread on AP/Chorus ever, even as far back as two years ago.

I saw these guys at Self Help Fest last month, enjoyed their set, and actually started listening to their music. After this horrifically upsetting event, I deleted all of their music and will no longer listen to them. That's gotta be a record for shortest time between gaining and losing a fan.

I haven't listened to this bands latest album but I did a google search for lyrics off the new album and this is literally the first thing that came up.

"These days I tend to see red
Cause all the women swimming in my head
are not the same ones laying in my bed"

which makes me really uneasy and not want to dig anymore.

  18. Classes aren't the answer. And although they'll be helpful, I don't think Warped Tour is the right "team" to be launching them.

No barriers are the worst. Wrong to stop on stage breaking etiquette. Wrong to kick anyone, especially jumping and doing so.

    Apologize. Don't do it again.

Warped tour? The tour that enables and celebrates predators? That goes out of their way to bring known sexual assaulters around young fans? What a perfect place to talk about respecting women

    Hi, I'm Negan ;)

I'm totally blaming the band? I dont get your comment.

  22. It's the perfect place for this sort of education, but for Warped Tour itself to be creating the classes seems like an attempt to better its soured reputation. With all of the junk going down at Warped Tour, that type of announcement makes me think, "What does Warped Tour know to teach anyone about this problem?"

Can't you just get one of those off stage people to kindly escort show goers off stage if your so against fans coming on stage and taking selfies?

I don't think it's Warped teaching anything. Either they hired or this company sought WT out to do this. They've identified an issue and are working to fix it. We all roll out eyes saying they have issues what do they know but they are trying to do something. You can't expect total change over night and it's better than doing nothing. At least they are trying to educate people. Should they not let some of the groups on? Probably but like I've said that will take time for the industry as a whole.
