Whoa what is this EP?

 

Already got the 2xLP version with 8 bonus tracks from the 10th anniversary, so I probably won't get this one unless it's got even more stuff. That EP is cool though, if it wasn't $30 for a 5 track and was instead the whole album like that, I'd bite.

Using the actual real place from the cover is a great idea. I remember getting on Google maps street view, and going all along that area to try and find it. I have a very similar picture on a HDD somewhere that looks pretty much the same.

I was beat to it ;d but just came here to say that Strings EP is exactly what you could expect from the title, it's on streaming in my timezone already, and ooobviously it's quite stunning

 

Caught the preview stream, and really enjoyed that EP. Fun little treat for the anniversary.

 

Did he mention if the EP is a 12”?

 

I think it's gotta be 12", the trakclist states that side B features an etched image, I don't think they'd fit 5 songs on one side of a 7" (oooh and I just reminded myself there are also 10" hahh, buuut still). Rarely see those splatters on smaller vinyl too, but that might be my blinspot or something.

The ten inch is my fear. Don’t wanna drop 30 bucks for 5 songs and get a 10” lol
