When I eventually get to mine it's gonna skew a lot newer than all y'all's. I haven't seen a lot of older horror, or a lot of older film in general.

I got Triangle on Blu-ray! I saw it at Amoeba a couple months ago but when I came back for it it was gone but when I came back again today it was there so I grabbed it! I asked the guys at the help desk if I'd have trouble playing it since it says Region B on the back and one of them says he owns a bunch of Umbrella releases and they play here just fine, and when I got home and tried it out surely enough it worked! Might not rewatch tonight since I'm exhausted from a busy weekend (incl LA Pride today!) but I'm really excited to revisit this one. I don't think I appreciated it enough the first time I watched it, I was surprised how much it stuck with me afterward. I think the concept for this movie is just so fucking cool

was gonna make the same joke again that it's just I Saw the TV Glow ten times but eh, i'll see what i can come up with. might be challenging to find a balance between the silly ones and the serious ones in a single list as well as rank them

I've only seen Tron Legacy but I fucking love Tron Legacy. I even have the soundtrack on vinyl. I hate that Leto's in the next one

Does anyone else have any weird sorting methods? My collection is like 80% female artists so the male artists and the soundtracks are separate at the end. Also I have it alphabetized by artists' first names

whoa chill. Marvel (and DC) have some flops, sure, in comics, movies/tv, and games, but there's a lot of good out there as well, you just gotta know where to look or, idk, ignore it? you seem to have a very strong hatred toward it and it's kinda offputting coming from you

I'm still hoping Chloe Bennett and Ming Na Wen come back. AoS was canon! At least most of it, I think? I haven't seen the final season but it sounds like there was some timeline fuckery going on

I'm in the middle of my mission impossible rewatch and I too like 1 and 3 about equally and 2 not as much Love Michelle Monaghan, Thandiwe Newton, and the little bit we see of Maggie Q and Keri Russell. Even when they're kidnapped or killed off in service of male main character development the women in this franchise are fantastic

enjoyed The Phoenician Scheme. i've only seen a handful of Wes Anderson movies, and probably not the ones widely considered his best. I don't particularly like or dislike any of the ones i've seen more than any of the others.

Another thing that looks interesting but I didn't realize was so long is Something is Killing the Children. I've read Tynion's Detective Comics run tho so at least I'm already acquainted with his work I already have so many books and series I've yet to get to so I really need to stop going to book stores but I just can't help myself. Even if I don't get anything, I'm adding stuff to my ever-expanding Amazon wishlist just to keep track of things that look cool
