I don't want to get too deep into it, but expecting her to change her sound palette every album is pretty sexist. People only expect female pop stars to reinvent themselves every "era" whereas male pop stars or male bands or any male artist can easily stay in the same lane for many albums or an entire career and be praised for it.

Dave the Diver is so addicting. There’s so much to it, but it eases you in and doesn’t overwhelm you. The story arcs and side characters are very entertaining. My wife and I keep saying “just one more cycle”.

Damn I'm continually impressed with the show and can feel intention behind all the writing. Nothing feels inessential. Exposition doesn't feel clumsy. The emotional moments hit hard. Just great stuff all around.

I’m not supposed to tell anyone yet, but idk any of you irl and this is always a good outlet for me. My wife is pregnant. She got her IUD taken out about a month ago and we’ve been talking about children for a while now. We just never expected it to happen so soon. I always said I didn’t want to bring a child into this cruel world, but the positives far outweigh my pessimism. I want to be the father I never had.

The first episode of Kaiju No 8 premiered today and it was awesome. More lighthearted and comedic than I expected and the music and animation were great. I can see this being the next big anime.

My wife wanted to go to IKEA and I’ve never been there before. It was an hour trip and started fine, but I ended up having a panic attack. It was a huge sensory overload and I was overwhelmed with everything. I wanted to leave and made my wife unhappy since she was looking forward to going. We ended up staying and I calmed down a bit, but my head is killing me.

Pretty much if you have a ton of interest and make under a certain amount or if you’ve been paying for like 20 years you get forgiveness (only on the interest for the former). So everyone else is sol, no more broad forgiveness being proposed. Just long time payers and means testing for interest
