i think any of the big name bands on the list could theoretically be considered headliners if they want to call themselves that. my guess is they are stretching the reality of the situation, but we’ll see! regardless, cool but weird pull for this tour. hopefully they win over some of the fanbases in attendance.

god that tour is so funny. i see stars and stick to your guns could be killing it on their own tours like you knoooow people aren’t going to be going to this to see them specifically, right? and both bands do well in their own scenes, just bizarre.

this is incorrect, death star supremacy!!!but i think at that point DGD was struggling to gain any traction with kurt. his live performances were sometimes not up to par, and the fanbase really wanted them to bring back johnny. i could be wrong, but i believe this predates the macbook scandal as well as the countless other issues he has been caught up in. the kurt stuff aged really well and people definitely appreciate uneasy hearts, but at the time it probably was partially a financial decision, partially them getting tired of working with Kurt as well.

don’t understand this festival sometimes… last year they planned to shorten friday to a shed bash and then decided to make it a full day. this year they planned to remove the pond stage??? like cmon that would have been such a bummer to do for the last year of existence. glad they caved.
