Eh, if Kamala loses her Presidential aspirations are dead. Essentially she's politically irrelevant as a Democratic figurehead. She's coming off so "Clinton-esque" but less savvy. And that's certainly not a compliment. She needs to win, we really can't withstand the Conservative Justices stepping down and being appointed 2 young MAGAs in their place.

Here is a common sense thing the federal government can do regarding responding to climate related incidents. Make a new cabinet department call it "Department of Environmental & Coastal Protection" or something. Put FEMA, NOAA, the Coast Guard, EPA, National Science Foundation, US Geological Survey, Forest Service under one umbrella. Streamline that shit.

Legislation and policy is the ONLY thing that matters yet it gets the least attention. When one candidate has absolutely 0 policy, the other candidate is enabled to have minimum and look like they do. This is why it's bad to have incompetent Republicans and we were better off going up against McCain/Romney/Bush...etc who were bad but had policies.

She reaches people on the View, Colbert, Stern...etc that aren't political and frankly stupid. The practical/logical reasons for voting for one of these candidates are not predictable for the 5ish% of people still willing to change their mind right now. I think it's a smart/safe media blitz really. It takes away a talking point that she's "hiding" or whatever. The only thing that can shake things up good or bad would be Kamala being different about her centrism but at this point that seems set in stone. I just feel like she says the same talking points over and over, while she could be a worse candidate, I don't find her very endearing. A tenfold better candidate than Biden though, what can you do.

Guys I think the point where Florida becomes uninhabitable due to Global Warming is here and it's just now hitting people. Insurance rates and housing costs are going to be even worse now. I am moving the fuck out of this state as soon as I can afford it, and I think a gradual exodus is coming.
