    got it, i legitimately wasnt sure but it makes sense that since youre already an existing employee with said benefits, it would be shitty to prevent you from being in a position to use them. i was strictly thinking about a new hire off the street who does not, presently, have access to said benefits. still shitty!!!

    got passed up on the manager position by someone who is 25 that has been at the bank half as long as i have. cannot see how their resume would possibly be better than mine. i didn't even get a chance to interview with the hiring manager, who was my manager when i first started at the bank, after the HR recruiter person said i did a great job with the first interview and that they'd be fast-tracking me for a hiring manager interview have to believe it's either a) the hiring manager is just gonna fake when i talk to them occasionally once a week or so and just doesn't actually like me lol or b) they didn't proceed with me because i made it clear i would be taking parental leave soon, which is illegal lol. it simply isn't because the person who got hired, who is on my current team, is more qualified than me.
