for everyone who recommended the U-Haul small boxes for record packing, thank you. picked up some heavy duty ones yesterday and they're a lifesaver for this move.

I feel like the more we continue to live our lives out loud as a society on social media these kind of uncomfortably public situations will just become more common. Not that I want to silence anyone. I get that it seems they took it online because other means wasn't working but I feel like couples revealing the intimacies of their relationships online is becoming increasingly common and I don't know what to think about it. sometimes I feel like I'm still in internet whiplash or culture shock as someone who was raised that you never gave personal info online and anonymity was the default and now we're at a polar opposite place.

btw after five months in the industry I’m already moving from budtender to shift lead. the budtenders at my store who applied and have over a year of experience are not thrilled lol. but I worked my ass off to earn this tbh, I fully believe I deserve it and clearly my bosses agree

Strange, apparently where I am in Canada, you can only have 10 mg of THC total in a package of edibles. Weird culture shock considering in the US, it's often hard to find a gummy with any less than 10 mg in it. The pack I got has five 2mg gummies

I remember being so disappointed on a road trip driving through Colorado and having to get 3.2 beer because only the grocery store was still open. I never knew that was a thing. Flyover ass states.

I remember walking into the beer store my junior year of college to get a 4-pack of Sierra Nevada tall boys. The guys at the register laughed and said I had to buy the whole pack. Wasn’t looking to spend like $45 on a case of beer so I just left lol. I had to drive a half hour to Wegman’s to buy anything less than a 24-pack.

PA has state stores. Only recently could you buy beer and wine at a grocery store.

My other issue with port-a-potty is that it sounds like one of those brands that became synonymous with the product like Kleenex or Velcro, except there is no brand called port-a-potty, it’s just a weird half portmanteau society invented simply because we fear the word “toilet”

It feels as if every pub and grill these days has switched to smash burgers, even though a lot of those places don't actually smash their patties.

Definitely understand posts like the one above while also wanting to reiterate that regular posters know that @iCarly Rae Jepsen of all people definitely did not mean for their post to read the way it has to some folks. Not trying to minimize any emotions, just feel like anyone unfamiliar should know that Ian is a really valuable and well-intentioned poster on this site.
