After a few listens it’s still not clicking. Lots of mid tempo songs that don’t really stand out with how incredible their catalog is. Hoping it’s a grower. But it’s a solid 6/10 for me

I played the new songs for my 5 year old and he said Turnstile is a sellout mainstream band and they haven't been good since the 7" So yeah won't be playing this one in the car... Personally I'm digging the new stuff. Seeming like a continuation of Glow On but there's a lot of potential there.

One with a music video already to boot! Great song though so I got the chance to have it stuck in my head this morning for the first time in years, so I’m ok with it

yes, albeit maybe a bit more melodic (assuming you're talking about I Let It In, The Things They Believe is an instrumental companion album)

This is really good. I need to give their last LP an actual listen. Is it like this?

The fuzz on the singles worried me and I normally love some fuzz. Will give it a headphones and a car listen tomorrow for the full experience

I could never get over how compressed the original one was. Happy to give this a full shot again on Friday! Already sounds way better!

I love the Dream is Over but do feel it is pretty strongly frontloaded

Agree, it’s one of the debuts that feels the most “fully formed” of any band in this scene I can remember

I am bummed that I’m not feeling these singles. Sad to say it’s the least excited I’ve been about a PUP album. Hoping these grow on me
