    Last year I took my 16 year old niece to see Maroon 5, they were also a headliner at Summerfest. It's still crazy to me how big Bad Omens got, getting the same spot as a band that big had a year earlier. Also, cool for WCAR. It's good to see that they moved on after Kyle's death.

    I get really jealous of everyone who gets to purchase lawn season passes for their local amphitheaters. But you really can’t beat the beautiful views at Jones Beach. And one of the rare venues with free parking.

    I’m 10-15 minutes from Jones Beach so any good lineup there is heaven for me. Traveled to a show by boat once which was so fun. I’m glad this year has a bunch of cool shows, there have been some dud summers over the last couple of years (sooo much country music). I just wish they had a lawn!

    In a four-day span, Jones Beach will have Live, Collective Soul, Our Lady Peace, Goo Goo Dolls, Dashboard Confessional, The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, and New Found Glory. Spread them out a little more, please! (Or just pair them all together.)

    My partner was a teacher at the Montessori school at 30th & 30th, I loved meeting her after work for shows & dinner & such. If you all haven't watched Broad City, one of the main characters lived in Astoria,& I still think it's the best modern media representation of what it's like to actually live in the city as a struggling young adult.

    Yeah got a spot right between 30th and Broadway, but far enough off the main road that its quiet. Quick ride into the city but have everything I need in like a five minute walk. Super happy it all worked out as quickly and easily as it did.
