I got a Nintendo invite over here, you couldn’t sign up for it though, you got it via mail based on some criteria (NSO, playtime, newsletter subscription). Didn’t need it though.

My Wii preorder was a shit show. I ordered it from FYE. They apparently committed to preorders that they didn't actually have and I had to wait until like a week after Christmas for it to come. When we finally picked it up, they handed it to me in a black trash bag so nobody would try and rob me haha

I managed to get a Wii on release day in town without a preorder. They had two in a (now long dead) electronics chain store that no one would ever think of when buying video games stuff. In hindsight it is wild how lucky I was given how hard it was to get for so long.

My dad took me around in the freezing cold trying to get a Wii at midnight for me. We failed at every store, two times being one away from getting one. We had to call it and went home. Woke up in the morning and came downstairs to a Wii. He had gone out again after I fell asleep and got lucky at some store.

I just stumbled across a Wale song. What is he up to? I haven't even listened to his last couple of albums (the last one of which is three years old), which is weird, because way back when his crop came up - including the alleged Big 3 - he was lowkey my favorite. His first few albums were my shit.

SoaD was big when I was a tween and at the time I thought they looked so corny that when I saw their posters on the wall of this girl I had an insane crush on my crush kinda faded :crylaugh: I hadn't even heard their music at that point probably.

i didnt mind it, if i was in states and had cash id probably have went. I like steve Byrne. I did find it funny that one of the comedians was fascinated by git em. Like his story is wild.
