I remember interviewing for a job to be on the marketing team for that Bubble show (and I namechecked AP during the interview, hah). I got picked for the gig because I "seemed passionate about emo music" and "understood the target demos" but had to turn it down because the pay was terrible and would have required relocation to NYC/me crashing on couches for at least 6 months. At the time I was really sad about it, but in hindsight I'm real glad I turned it down.
