4/4 with the singles. Can’t wait to really sink time into this one.

I'm just having major cognitive dissonance with the band in their new era. They really do sound great, but I miss the complexity of their pre-reunion material. And I have to tune out how atrocious some of the lyrics are and the fact that they're written by men in their forties. Voyeurist is so good I can get past that element, but it's harder with this new one.

I have never really listened to TSL, but I really like this album. It's just a no frills, quality rock album. Seems like those are becoming more of a rarity these days.

Wow. Kenny is FEELING it on this album. I love the raw vibes on this album and it’s great to see diverse shoutouts to songs. So much to digest and revisit but that first listen was so pleasing. You can totally hear all their influences on this record too. I can’t believe this is here. The Staring Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Yellowcard…. There needs to a be a ‘comeback tour’.

I wonder if they'll make another beer or if Chino's sobriety killed that endeavor.

That’s the worst news possible. I actually enjoyed the new album for the most part. However, “Everything Ends” was easily the most derivative, bright beige song on there. Now they’ll only be encouraged to go further in that direction.

Very important piece to a CD collection, if you grew up in the 90s.

I would have accepted Mantras as the band's final album. Really awesome they got a new deal and I'm betting we'll get some even heavier sounding songs on the next record that make the band a perfect fit for all the major hard rock festivals they get booked to perform.
