Yo. I was "PeeDster" back in the old days, had joined AP in Jan 03...I was 18 back then, sigh...part of the eurokids thread mainly and resident thrice fan. Funny to see some old handles here that I remember, hi all. Just checking in...which I do ever 3 or 4 years. Hah.

Feels like kinda a shitty direct in that I have almost no interest in anything they saved for the second half, but a really solid amount of stuff I'm at least interested in pending reviews: Yoshi, Mario Tennis, Wonder expansion, DK DLC, Prime 4. I really don't have a shortage of stuff to play any time soon, so I can't be disappointed in anything other than no MKW DLC which feels like the no brainerest no brainer.

Out the gate, this is one of the best "reunion" albums i've ever heard. They were able to capture that feeling of catching lightning in a bottle after so many years. Just brimming with energy and creativity.

Hawk is still probably my favorite song on this on first listen through the whole thing, but overall very good. Title track and You’ve Always Been Here other initial standouts.

Honestly, more switch 1>2 upgrades is near the top of my list of hopes. Got Metroid prime remaster, thousand year door, and Luigi’s mansion 3, none of which I’ve beaten yet and all of which I’d love to see with the power bump.
