Show at Ally Pally was incredible last night. Crowd was tremendous, absolutely brought it in comparison to 5 weeks back in Mpls (not to say that show was bad in any shape or form). So thankful for this experience.

Wow!! This was my gig of the year, they were fucking incredible last night at Ally Pally, I was at the barrier for it until the last song because I had to leave to avoid the rush afterwards but holy shit this band are operating at the peak of their powers big time I give a shout out to High Vis as well.. suprised that they were the opening act instead of main support but anyways they were really good and I enjoyed The Garden as well!

When their Africa cover became huge, I was so irritated cuz they have 15+ albums of material, yet they play all those covers. It irritated the hell out of me haha

Blah, whole reason I drove out of my way to this store in rush hour traffic in the dark & rain was to get the vinyl early & the tote, but it didn’t even arrive and they said to come back Friday. Cool.

Got into my local party list, really just going to get the tote and vinyl a little early. I feel as a 40 year old man I should let someone else have the CDR (assuming there even is one at this location) haha

Saw her last night at Bottlerocket, and it was a good time. She’s so talented and such a warm, joyful presence. Gabrielle Grace was also really cool and fun; she apparently was sick and cut multiple songs from her set, but if that was a lesser performance from her, then I’m 100% a fan. Bought a friendship bracelet from her. After falling off on going to shows for a while, the other ones I saw this year were Poppy, Halsey, and Ethel Cain. So, it was fun being at the first show for a while that’s so small and intimate. Just good vibes all around.

Interesting. Weezer is doing a three-guitar getup this tour. I thought they’d pull a Ratitude and Rivers would just do vocals [MEDIA]

Human too is one of their weakest songs, it’s not bad, just boring and kills the pace of the album. WHAT SHOULD I SAY IS TOP TIER

People are being really fucking weird about this on Reddit (not a huge surprise). As far as I'm concerned, it's their music so they can do what they want with it, for whatever reason. They shouldn't *have* to keep a song they don't love anymore up there just because they once released it. Plus the physical copies of the album will still exist, and fans will still make sure there are rips on YouTube or whatever. That said, What Should I Say is a fucking banger lol. Human Too is whatever.

That would be my guess. She said at the show that basically everything for this album, from the artwork to the music videos, were done by her and her guitarist. It feels like everything was in-house for this.

She was really good in Cleveland. Show reminded me of seeing IIOI/Laura Stevenson back in the day, with like under 50 people. I feel like she’s one big opener away from breaking out. I wonder if going independent on the latest release played a part in the attendance on this tour, like if less dollars could be spent on promotion.

Damn I'm really bummed I can no longer go to the show tomorrow night. I could tell by the IG stories that these crowds have been really small. I really wanted to show my support, and also get to chit chat were her a bit. I really hope she can snag a good opening act slot next year and start getting more exposure.
