I’m 42 and ditching my company’s big dinner/party to stand in the back of Anxious/Stateside and shout and point at the stage. Very sure I’ll be one of the oldest there.

Just listened to blue weekend for the first time in a while. “No Hard Feelings” is a contender for the best breakup song ever. It comes from such a unique, sweet place of acceptance

Logging in for the first time in a long time to add another voice of support for @aiyana91. I went through a very similar situation with a member of a band I loved when I was younger and am still parsing out my feelings on him/the band over a decade later. Reading your article was painful and cathartic at the same time. I know the stress around these conversations and fighting this fight are overwhelming. I straight up logged out four years ago to avoid it because I couldn’t handle it anymore. You’re doing important work and I’m so grateful for it. Don’t let the bastards get you down.

I was stressing so much. As a very good rule follower, even when I was a 19 year old girl, dina and Ellie were stressing me tf out. And even the others being like "uhh okay go ahead" like you can't be all pressed they don't follow rules but then do nothing when they don't follow the rules. Basically I was shouting "follow the rules. We're a society! They're to protect everyone!" Like the square I am the entire episode

She should surprise release Rep TV, Debut TV, and TS12 all on the same day. On like a Wednesday or something. Maximum chaos. Break all the streaming platforms. Nobody else can print vinyls for three years.

This Is How Grooming Works: My 2006 LiveJournal Entries About Jesse Lacey Thank you to everyone here who’s supported me—your belief gave me the strength to keep going. I’m sharing something I never expected to share, let alone see ever again: some of the LiveJournal entries I wrote in real time while I was being groomed by Jesse Lacey in 2006. The response to my first article made it clear that the truth and visibility matter, and simultaneously, how deeply misunderstood grooming is, even today. I won’t be checking responses much today, but I did want to share this here with the folks who have supported me from day 1. Thank you for continuing to witness and validate me in my process. This is all I have left to contribute to this conversation, at least for now.

I remember when the news came out about BN (and anytime JK Rowling says something shitty that gets a lot of attention), tattoo artists I follow on instagram were offering free or heavily discounted cover ups.

We all need to get real and focus on Feige’s numerology. THUNDERBOLTS T is the 20th letter in the alphabet H is the 8th letter in the alphabet U is the 21st letter in the alphabet N is the 14th letter in the alphabet D is the 4th letter in the alphabet E is the 5th letter in the alphabet R is the 18th letter in the alphabet B is the 2nd letter in the alphabet O is the 15th letter in the alphabet L is the 12th letter in the alphabet T is the 20th letter in the alphabet S is the 19th letter in the alphabet 158 * is common for multiplication. But for what? The number of members in the team: 5 Sentry and Taskmaster are stones to throw us off the trail. Only use Yelena, Red Guardian, Bucky, US Agent, and Ghost. 158 * 5 =790 In the Marvel universe, the number 790 is used for a specific reality called Earth-TRN790. The “TRN” stands for “Temporary Reality Number,” a placeholder used by Marvel being assigning an official designation. Thunderbolts is merely a placeholder for the real name. Now what could the real name be? 7+9+0 =16 Avengers #16 is the first issue in which a new lineup emerges, setting the precedent of a rotating team lineup. Thunderbolts is a placeholder for Avengers

Bon Iver album so clearly influenced by this (and featuring the man himself!). I am rewatching the live film/performance/whatever. Between mk.gee, the Venturing album, Cameron Winters, Bon Iver…I am ready to call this an under appreciated masterpiece and maybe the most important/influential album of the 2020s so far.
