Went to this show last night. Heard about them for the first time the night before. I am unsure how I was so late to this. I was kind of embarrassed about it. It was packed. Everyone (else) knew every word. This was an incredible show. The new song featured more of the girl, and I believe they were filming a video for it last night. My wife was super impressed as well. The sax blew her mind. This band is about to be huge I’d think.

Stolen from my post in the main 311 thread in 2022: Transistor Soundsystem From Chaos Blue Music Evolver Grassroots Uplifter Voyager Mosaic Stereolithic Universal Pulse Don't Tread On Me Right now I’d probably swap Soundsystem and Transistor at the top. Soundsystem is just a perfect summer record. Ran it back a lot this year. My Uplifter ranking is also based on the deluxe version with all bsides included . As I also went deeper on in the main 311 thread - I could’ve sequenced a better tracklist that would probably make more people be kinder to that album. I really just love this band so much. I got my 30th anniversary Grassroots vinyl earlier this week , going to spin that a bunch this weekend!

Love that people are psyched to chop up the releases but it’s cemented to me as the og album with the bonus tracks and OMT pt 2. I love it as a mini album. Opener, closer, nice slow down song and rippers in between.

And I am so thrilled to be part of a community that understands getting this kind of work, from this band, at this point in their career and lives is something to be savored. I may never know how it happened. But my goodness my life is better with this version of Blink in it.

Yeah I don't think it has truly hit me yet that they are literally on their highest peak since they ever first got famous. They will have just completed the biggest tour they have ever done and have produced SOLID amount of new music. We are truly spoiled. We will all look back at this one day and just think back on how good these times were.
