Is this really a "Favorite Foods" thread or just @angrycandy 's way of making us all crave a bajillion different foods all at once?

I've grilled up some corn on the cobs about 5 times in the past week haha. I'm obsessed. If you have a Trader Joe's near you, I can't recommend their "Everything but the Elote" seasoning enough. Spread your cob with some mayo, sprinkle that seasoning on, and enjoy

Finished up "Lost Stars" by Claudia Gray and really enjoyed it. Can anyone recommend another book to read? Was thinking either "Leia", "Bloodline", or something someone recommends.

I see this was posted weeks ago so IDK if you've done this or not. But I commented on their post on Twitter that I was excited to see it and they dm'ed me a code to watch it for free. Not sure if everyone gets one that comments, but might be worth a shot.

We love the 1975 because they could belt out a record full of ‘The Sound,’ and ‘Heart Out’ but they don’t. I went into the record with lower expectations than usual, given the commentary and some of the shredding reviews. And I’ve got to say, upon the first three listens to this record —I’m blown away. It is full of ‘moments’: the unexpected musical, lyrical, production twists and turns, surprises, innovative deliveries. On every listen and every individual track, I've had a moment of: “Wow.” “Damn.” “That was unexpected.” Whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’ —I value artists that demand more of my tastes, that challenge my conventions by doing the same in their own work.

Super simple! I just heat up half vinegar half water, 3 ish cups total to make 2 mason jars worth. (I think you can also do all vinegar for a full pickle) with a tablespoons of sugar, couple tablespoons salt, several peppercorns, and a couple garlic cloves. Pour the boiling water mixture over sliced japalenos and wait a couple days. Voila! that all can be adjusted to taste and you can add other spices in the pickling liquid but this is the pretty generic method I use for pickles and tomatoes too

Was inspired by @Ken and made this the other night. Shrimp, mussels, and candied bacon in a spicy broth. Presentation isn't the greatest, I blame the beers on that, but it tasted amaaaaazing

This immediately rivals ILIWYS for my favorite album of theirs. I’ve had so much fun listening to this all day. I don’t think it lacks cohesion and I personally like the sequencing a lot (I just think people shouldn’t be on here at all). So happy for them they did a great job

I agree with what most people have said. I'll listen to an album, add the songs I really enjoy to a playlist, listen to the shit out of them and almost pretend like the others don't exist.

I'm not the biggest fan of this band, but I always listen through their albums at least once, and there's usually 3-4 songs I'll throw on a playlist. I haven't really been keeping up with this one though, so going in mostly blind, I think. So wow this is really starting off with a Greta speech, huh?

deleting a song from the album that you don't like or care for is exactly the same as just skipping it in a full listen. if you have no care to hear the song, why have it there? who cares? why does this topic seem to always generate such firey debate? listen to shit the way you want and let others listen the way they want.
